Passage District

A neighborhood older than the foundation of the village of Nossa Senhora da Assunção in Cabo Frio, it is a historical landmark of the city. It is called Passagem because it was a crossing point in colonial Brazil. It is one of the oldest villages in Brazil and its architectural and historical wealth have turned the place into a tourist spot, all the historical buildings in the place as well as the Church of Sao Benedito with its Colonial architecture, are listed by the State Cultural Heritage Institute.


Currently, it has become a gastronomic hub, concentrating the widest variety of options for your night out.


Dawn on the pier on the banks of Canal Itajuru is a spectacle. You can also take a boat and go to Ilha do Japonês, or enjoy a tour.

Guia Hill

One of the main postcards of Cabo Frio, Morro da Guia has, in addition to the natural beauty of the place, the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Guia, which is part of a religious and heritage architectural complex of the municipality of expressive wealth. Praia do Forte

Main beach in the city of Cabo Frio, with 7.5 kilometers in length. At one end, in the center of the city, is the Fort of São Mateus do Cabo Frio, built in the 16th century. Along its entire length of white sand, it covers the districts of Braga, Balneário das Dunas and Foguete. Finishing its shoreline in Arraial do Cabo on the beach called Praia do Pontal, the first beach in this city.
